History

New work developed by Shanghai based artist, Lu Pingyuan, for the CFCCA and the Liverpool Biennial which looked the artist's trademark elements of narrative and imagination. After seeing CCTV footage of a ghost (though to be the 7th earl of Derby) reportedly seen by staff at the Ye Olde Man and Scythe pub in Bolton, the artist decided to try and catch it in an attempt to take something back from the UK in response to that which was lost during UK's colonial past.
