History

An installation, held in the main Gallery to mark the Lunar New Year in 2012, was inspired by traditional Chinese wishing trees.

Chinese Arts Centre invited two local artists, Lu Di and Olivia Glasser, to create a large scale sculptural installation to celebrate the Lunar New Year in 2012. Visitors were invited into the gallery to create paper lanterns which were used to decorate the gallery to create the Centre's own 'Wishing Trees'.
