Soka Art is a group of art galleries founded in 1992 by Hsiao Fuyuan, which promotes the works of contemporary Asian artist. The gallery now has three venues in Tainan (1992), Beijing (2001), and Taipei (2007).
In 2001 a second venue, Soka Art Beijing was opened and introduced Taiwanese artist to mainland China. From 2003, gallery moved into contemporary art, and opened Soka Contemporary Art Space in Beijing in 2005. The new venue invited international curators to organised exhibitions. In 2010, the Beijing venue moved to a largely site in the 798 Art District.
In 2007, Soka art, Taipei was re-established in 2007 and is dedicated to the management and promotion of Asian contemporary art.
