Biography

Community Museum Project was a Hong Kong based collaborative art project founded in 2002 by Howard Chan, Siu King-chung, Tse Pak-chai and Phoebe Wong.

The Community Museum Project focused on developing a museum which would represent everyday living and values. The group collected artifacts and visual evidence to create a platform to represent personal experiences and under-represented histories. They produced a flexible artistic programme, usually based within community settings, to aid the reinterpretation of indigenous creativity, visual culture and public culture.

Community Museum Project contributed to the  exhibition at the Chinese Arts Centre in 2004, and Arrivals and Departures exhibition at the Urbis in 2007.
